Hoya Carnosa

The Hoya Carnosa carry's the Dutch name 'Wasbloem'. The plant comes from China, Taiwan and Japan and belongs initially to a family of plants which can be recognised by te husk-shaped fruit. The fruit contains silky, fluffy seeds.

A temperature which lies around the 20 degrees Celsius is ideal for this plant. During the rest period of the plant it is advised to lower the temperature. The plant loves a light place, but take care that the plant does not come to stand in the fierce sun.

The plant loves moderate to high air humidity. When you place the plant in the living room, it is important to sprinkle the plant regularly / frequently. Give the plant regular water, but take care that the plant does not drowns.

It is advised, when the buds appear, to let the plant stay at his place.
