Palm

The Palm is also called the 'king of the plants'. Most people think that the Palm is a tropical plant. Although the largest part of the palms indeed comes from tropical or subtropical places, there are also Palm species which are growing in colder regions.

The Palm prefers much light. Place the larger types in the sun, and the smaller types in the shade. A palm needs warmth to grow. The exact temperature differs by type, but commonly you an state that at lower temperatures then 20°C a Palm does not grow well. An ideal temperature lies between the 25°C to 30°C.

Prevent that water is given on the booklet or tribe, because the chance excist that these parts will rot or that mould shaping appears there. When the temperature is high, you have to give the plant much water, because the large booklet-area of the plant is causing that the plant evaporates much water.
